And then the rain came yesterday. Good morning. Try again to finish the roof on the Tacoma. Headed off to the gym first. Getting back into the swing of things.
Y'all have a great day and be safe out there. Folks with lawn mowers for the first time in a year. Flying objects hurt.

Good morning everybody. Guess I got to do that work week thing again.

In other news, I got the damp drywall cut out, a little mold had started on the backside of the rock but nothing major. Flooring pulled out too. Everything has been sprayed down with bleach and I have a couple of fans blowing on it to help dry it all out. All in all, I lucked out. PSA, if your 20+ year old fridge suddenly spills water on the floor don’t just clean out the defrost drain. Check the ice maker line from the bottom of the fridge to the top.

    Good Morning

Lots of rain last night. Why does the grass have to grow? Why can't it just stay green and not grow longer?
Back to work later:(. Hope the truck remembers how to get there.

    Morning all

Did they give her morphine in the hospital? That's what seems to have triggered my mom's dementia
After replacing all the freezer components because of rusty ice, the hose gave out under the sink. That was a fun week.

Just passed the final inspection a couple of months ago.

We ran out of funds so we still need siding, paint and landscaping.
We are getting a new front door with sidelights, the rain rotted out the old one, changing to fiberglass

Smart move on the door. I was kidding, actually thought you were done. Now kinda sorry I asked...the saga continues. But I guess being past final inspection is the big hurdle...the rest is easy in comparison...just rob a bank.;)

How many days 'til you escape to da villa?

Interesting story on dementia/alcoholism and other confusing BS. Brother was a hard core drunk/smoker (died today) and lived in the woods for 40+years, in a bread van outside of Anchor Hocking Glass for 10 years, and in several shopping malls, head shops and cars. Finally ended up in a senior living complex in southern Ohio. Would drink, and fall, drink and fall. Several hospital visits for head injuries. Anyhow finally fell again a few months ago, broke his jaw, but when he woke up, had no idea he smoked or drank. Never asked for a cigarette or drink. Next day he found out he had lung cancer. Things went down hill from there. 72 hours ago he fell again and broke a hip. Took him to the hospital and replaced his hip and he promptly died 48 hours later. Phucking crazy. My last drink was March 1, 1994. I'm grateful every day. The man that invented the unspillable bong is dead. May he rest in peace.
