    I like the bare aluminium look too. I take the time to hand brush each of these before they go out. A coat of clear and they should shine for years to come

    For me, it’s mostly the bling :D

    This was also created to fix a chronically poor and leaky stock reservoir. It also provides more coolant capacity, I filled it with at least twice what the stock reservoir held. My reservoir wasn’t leaking though - but one of my mottos is, if it’s not broken, fix it anyway.

    The tank sits in a naturally cooler part of the engine bay too. Being that it's aluminium- it makes a nice heat sink too.
