Anyone else try WrapArmor for the bottom of their tailgate? I did the front of my hood with ease:however, the tailgate wrap was a disaster! $80 lost. Anyone have luck with the install?

 

I did the top of my tailgate with this stuff. Turned out real good, and was easy to install.

EDIT: I see wraparmor is not actually selling a paint protection for the tailgate, just a style wrap for the bottom part.


Get some knife tape and a sheet of vinyl and you can make it for less and better.

 

I purchased my tailgate vinyl from them in person, and installed it myself. I was my 1st every attempt at laying vinly/wrap. Came out 'ok'. Definatly could do it better if I had to do it again.
