Gen 2/ gen 2.5 2012 winch bumper compatibility

I’m looking at a used winch bumper for my 2012 Tacoma. It’s a rpmfab front for 2005-2011. Does anyone have this on a 2012? I’m curious what it would take to get this mounted.

I wouldn't count on them for support.

 

It should fit. Generally 2-2.5 bumpers are only different at the top edge to account for the difference in grill to headlight transition change with the 2.5s. Everything else remained the same between models from mounting bolts/position to fender clearance.

Mounting is the same, as we share the same frame. Only difference is the bumper lines. The grill and headlights are different on the 12-15 and fabricators often add additional plating/cosmetic pieces to fill in the gaps. Depending on fabricator, Some 12-15 won’t fit 05-11s but all 05-11s should fit 12-15s.
