That's kind of my plan for mid/long term is to find an old D21 or D22 and make it the beater/runabout

Camped and fished around the northeast Nicolet Forest area last week - from snow to 70s in a few days' time, gotta love it.

Nice! Eagle River/Florence district? I've spent a lot of quality time up there. :)

Nice! I need to explore up there more. I've seen more of the places east of there between Butternut Lake and Florence. So much beautiful country up there! And fishing galore!

    With magic...

Recent experiment, really. I use these, one in each corner - held up great for the past 700ish miles on/off road and with sustained 20 mph wind gusts:

    https://www.uptopoverland.com/products/uptop-tracnut

Edit: I won't be having it or the awning up there all the time, just seeing how the mounts and hardware hold up for a couple weeks. That way, I know if I'm good to go for extended trips.

Finally swapped in the Expedition leaf springs I bought from a member on here. So nice that they don't squeak like the OMEs and really leveled the truck out so hopefully no more blinding people with the rear end sagging. Pretty much immediately took off to MI to camp over the weekend at a state park with my mom. Stopped in Holland on the way back for the first weekend of tulip fest. We would have liked to stay and see more but there was a crazy amount of people and we wanted to get back to WI at a reasonable hour!
