The M12 oscliating muti-tool is definitely a handy thing to have. It eats battery life so fast that I ended up getting a corded version from Porter Cable (which also has a quick-change blade holder, which is a nice touch) for my home shop though.

Do you have the m12 fuel? I have the regular 12 volt multi tool and that thing is puny.

Just the regular M12. Like most of my Milwaukee tools, I bought it before the Fuel line was introduced. My M12 tools mostly get used for volunteer scenic carpentry (set construction) that I do with a community theater around here (when they're not closed for a pandemic, anyway). Doesn't take much torque to drive drywall screws into 1x3 soft wood and 1/4" luan...

The only M12 Fuel tool I have is the multi-head drill/driver gadget, but I bought the bare tool, and only have pre-fuel batteries to run it on. Not a big deal since I have impact drivers in M12 and M18 for any job that needs more torque.

One of these days I'll pick up some Fuel batteries.

Received a surprise coupon in the mail for another 15% off from Home Depot. Took advantage after debating about ordering this bad boy to cut down some trees in my yard. Tested it immediately and love it. Purchased the tool only (no batteries or charger, already have what I need for now).

some of them are store returns that people buy in bulk. I always look at their other items.
If I can justify the cost, I can always buy anything from Home Depot without tax.

Selling my WORX trimmer/edger tomorrow to a co-worker in order to consolidate my chargers and batteries and move to a single (mostly) ecosystem.

Ordered up the Milwaukee string trimmer with QUIK-LOK attachment capability.

Harden your bark, there are storms on the horizon.
Makita is a better choice, especially if you run your gear hard.

Full disclosure: I own the #2695-15 M18 set plus a couple other tools.

No wadded panties necessary. This opinion is from someone who has worked at a Milwaukee distributor for 21 years. Makita is a better choice.

    Carry on.

let’s see makita come out with a 12v brushless system half as good as Milwaukee
Than come post some shit like that in a Milwaukee tools thread lol
I love having this debate with my coworkers
Funny how all the ones with makita also always have to constantly borrow my shit.

I think the tradespeople would disagree. Of all the jobsites I've been on over the last two years, I'd say 50-60% are team red, 30-40% team yellow and 10-20% team blue.

Just a sample from this part of the country.

I actually have been recently impressed with Makita, I had experience with them about 8 years ago and since switching to Milwaukee haven’t been around them much. This past weekend I was working on a project with my son and he wanted to use his tools, so he busted out his Makita 18v XLT driver and drill that my step father gave him. (He’s 8, lol)
I was impressed with how refined and smooth the drill felt, and it was super light. The impact driver on the other hand, was way too underpowered and had me looking for the adjustable torque settings like on my Milwaukee.
And ironically I gave my mom a Makita 18V string trimmer for Mother’s Day last weekend. I was incredibly impressed with the quality, and how smooth the throttle felt over my Milwaukee trimmer. And the amazing part that was the reason I bought it for her is that the whole tool and battery combined weighed only 7 lbs with a 4AH battery!

Honestly glad I placed the order today. This WORX GT trimmer is TRASH. The battery is going out. Someone is coming to buy it tomorrow.

Still working on the collection, but Milwaukee has done a great job of keeping up. I love my m12 (pre-fuel) ratchets. The impacts have been impressive as well. The socket sets are nice too because they come with a pre-molded tray that fits nicely in a drawer. They come with cases that are nice for travel as well...
