Put a deposit down on a 7568 OR ($38,140) premium OF package ($3815), tech ($770) & LED packages ($485) with all weather/door sill protectors ($248). Left the matts/sill protectors on since I'm in the NE and slop/mud 1/3rd of the year plus short dog jumping in is always using the door sill to finish climbing in. Wanted them so had no desire to go back & forth on those. Will, however negotiate bed lights, mud flaps, tailgate lettering and vent visors (or any combo) to be thrown in at delivery since I'm paying MSRP ($44,633). Not major items but since they have had zero '21s on their lot for close to two weeks now I will negotiate where I can. Helps that the finance manager is an avid mountain biker as well so plan to use that mutual interest in my favor the best I can!

HA! I'll be leaving '17 7570. Magnetic grey is my desired color but to be honest I'm too lazy (& cheap) to have my cap repainted so I asked for Silver first and grey second with the hope of just plopping the cap from one right to the other. Perk of the silver is it's less hot for the pups when they go with us (most times).

    Good looking truck, btw!

I had the silver in 18 . Hated it. But was cheapest colour then

7570 cement is what I wanted. Toyota won’t sell it to us here. Had to go to Nebraska to get it. Dealer messed up (100+ page thread on this forum about it if you are bored). Toyota stepped up and gave me 7568 loaded for same price. Couldnt be happier

been waiting 3 years for a cement

have bed cap on my 01. My 21, gets fully loaded at farm - thus can’t use cap

@farmtacoma Just realized we're talking on two threads. Is your thread linked through your profile? Would be interested in checking it out!

I got my 7570 used so was take what was available and I was in bad need of a newer truck (previous was '99 Tacoma that I straight wore out when I was younger). Ended up finding a used cap later that year in great condition that already matched. There are times when not having it would be beneficial to be sure but I need it for keeping things dry/secure more often then needing to move larger items. But I get it! We all have different needs/uses.

This is true in AZ/NM 8 months later. Went to 19 dealerships from SoCA, NV, NM, and AZ.

Finally got Precision Toyota in Tucson to agree to MSRP for a 2021 Pro being built.

I just placed an "order" for a DCSB TRD-OR, Cement, manual, premium, tech with tonneau, bed lighting, TRD black exhaust, roof rack and mud flaps. Plan to install TRD wheels. MSRP minus whatever discounts exist when delivered. Salesman said 8-12 weeks.

does the AC drain mod count?
the trd pro sounds like such a bad deal... is it just a gucci bro thing or for people who don't like to work on their truck? The upgrades over the OR or sport packages should only be like 10k max. Got my 2016 trd sport MTACLB for 27k way back then...

No OR stock either, 4 dealers on OR in AZ quoted ~42k (MSRP, and we're firm).

So yea, getting Pro for 7k more. And then work on it so unless you saw the seat trim etc you wouldn't know it's a Pro.

Very very similar to mine — I didn’t get the roof rack, but got the tailgate lock and the bed step. Otherwise the same.
I got mine in December at Earnhardt in Mesa for $250 under INVOICE. TRD DCSB OR 6MT, premium pkg, advanced tech pkg, LED lights, Tonneau, bed step, mud flaps, tailgate lock, carpet mats and door guards. Things must have changed a lot since December.

    80 pages.... https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/dealer-sold-my-truck-resolved.703401/ grab a drink!

Totally get it. My 01 Tacoma (love it) - was great. In 2018 needed a new truck bad for the farm. Didn't have any money. Settled for a $22k SR Utility, bare bones, like my 01. Business was better, thus 21, decided want a proper truck. DCLB 4x4 cement (which is what I wanted in 18 but couldn't afford).

Yeah my trucks are loaded to the gills in the bed (think loaded like Africa/Vietnam, not what the American lawyers think of a "bed load"), and as a result cap isn't worth it to me. But as you said, we all use our trucks differently :)

Starting today, May 4, Toyota has cut it's regional cash rebate & low APR financing offers on Tacomas.

In most regions, cash back is now only $500 instead of $1,000 (still $0 in Calif.) The 60 month financing APR rises to 2.9% from 1.9%, the 72 month financing APR rises to 3.9% from 2.9%. See: https://www.toyota.com/deals-incentives/?vehicles=tacoma

@verlaryder bummer. Good chance other lenders will likely beat those #s with good credit scores. FWIW: I fell into an "excellent" when I bought my first vehicle in my name (a used '17 in '18) and I only got a 3.46 for 72. Fully intend on getting mid 2s or better now that I'm buying an actual new one & have a more robust credit history.

Just signed the deal last night! Luckily the truck was in inventory, but not quite here, so I was able to close on the deal before April incentives ran out. May is now $0 in MN!
    1. 2021 Army Green TRD OR DCSB
    2. $45,022 MSRP
    3. Options - Premium package, Advanced Tech, door sill and floor liner, exhaust tip, mud flaps
    4. Cost of dealer add ons- None!
    5. $42,022
    6. Discount: 6.66%
    7. Incentive - $2500 dealer, $500 Toyota
    8. Price Out The Door - $45,389 (6.5% sales tax plus license fees)
    9. Trade in vehicle - N/A
    10. 5/3/21
    11. MN
    2 lessons learned:

    1. I got outside financing pre-approved which gave me leverage with the finance office. I was pre-approved for 2.74% with my CU, Dealer offered 2.83%. I told them I'll go with outside financing and they knocked it down 0.5% no questions asked. Signed at 2.33%
    2. When inventory is this tight, call around to dealers to see if they have allocations already coming in that are similar to what you want. This dealer quoted 8-12 weeks for a factory allocation, but I found this truck at a dealer about 150 miles away and they were able to trade for it. I'll be picking up the truck early next week, so it'll be 6 weeks total from order date.

Now that my wallet is significantly lighter, the anticipation is killing me. I should have the truck within a week!

Smart choice getting pre approved on the loan before stepping on the lot. Well done! Congrats on the new truck Christmas comes early!
