    Good morning fellow Pennsyltuckyvanians!!!

I power washed the porch furniture yesterday and then pulled the painter's tape from both the front and back porches later in the day. I also got the water turned on and the filter uncovered at the pool so they guys can get it open this week.

Not sure what today holds....but life is good.

    Be safe!!

Moderna. I always have worse reactions to vaccines so not really a good measure. My husband got Pfizer and had almost no symptoms. A little fatigue for a day and a headache. Brother had both Moderna shots and zero symptoms at all.
The flu shot usually kicks my butt too.

I’m curious if anyone else recently noticed a change to their Amazon prime shipping speed? Up until a week or so ago when I viewed Items on Amazon, most of them had an expected delivery date of 2 days out. Now when I browse items (or even order them), the earliest I can get an item is 3 days with most items showing as a 5 day delivery. The stuff I can get in 3 days is what previously was a next day delivery item by the way. I called Amazon and they didn’t have a good answer and just refunded me 1/3 of my annual prime membership. Just curious if any of you are seeing something similar.

Shipping has been hit or miss for everything USPS is still struggling so Prime is jacked in areas that used to rely on it. Most Amazon stuff has switched to FedEx or UPS for me when a lot of it used to come through USPS.

Mine is more through USPS but I still get the majority from a Prime driver. I will say they are delivering later in the day, often at dusk after after dark which hasn't boded well for the delivery drivers out here on my rural road without street lights - this despite the fact that everybody has GPS today and people can track you to the place where you sit in your house. :p

I have noticed it getting slower and slower also. What usually was next day or 2 is now 3 sometimes up to 5. I've also had 3 packages lost in the past 6 months that they had to resend the item to me. I still love you using Amazon but not sure what's goin on

Mine is just about every other day, much to the dismay of my wife. I shop almost exclusively online and have been for years now. My wife will wear the same ragged clothes until they fall down. I like to get my money's worth but can't handle sagging underwear or socks. :D

I'm with you on the online shopping. I really find it much easier then having to go somewhere and deal with people or finding out they don't have my size.

In my smallish community many brick and mortar stores have closed. The alternative is to drive a 1/2 hour to the area with many shops and stores and even then they may not have my style or size. I just order online and most of it is here within a few days. No gas, no hassle, no wear and tear, no waste of time. My wife won't do clothes online. I know my sizes so it usually isn't a problem. The very few times it is, the Amazon guy picks up the return or I have to drive a few miles to the UPS store for a free return.

Online shopping is okay for some items. Clothes I need to try on before I buy. True story. Dockers were on sale at our local Sears(yes this was a few years ago) and I needed some slacks. I picked up two pair different colors and the same size. The wife said try them on. I went and tried one pair on they fit great. The wife asked if I tried on the other pair and I said why they are the same size. A few days later we were going out and I got the pair I didn't try on out and :annoyed: they didn't fit...to tight. So with egg on my face with the wife I exchanged them and tried the new pair on before I left the store.
Biggest problem I have is with shoes. I wear anywhere from a 9 up (one pair actually was labeled) to 10 1/2. Always have to try them both on.

My wife is in your corner. I usually don't have any issue with clothes but I tend to stay with the brands I have bought in the past and know how they fit. I also check the "how do they fit" part of the Amazon page and read the reviews to to see how they fit other who may be my size. I just checked my app and there are 3 items coming today, by Amazon delivery, including a pants of casual sweatpants and slippers for me. I ruined my one pair of sweatpants throwing gravel last week. I should have changed into my work pants but thought I could "stay clean" while flinging limestone in a driving rain and after spraying weed killer on a windy day. They are now my grass cutting sweatpants. :anonymous:

I'm agree with shoes. For the most part I'll try them on somewhere but will look on line if I can find them cheaper

That's a big reason I try to shop online. I have to drive a half hour to get to the stores and that means more traffic. I find it easier to to shop online. But to each they're own in the last few years I just find it the easiest way to go
