Hope you dont have a limited slip diff. They require special fluid with an additive.

Just took the truck through some curves and realized that the roaring goes away when I'm curving to the right..Left handed curves the roar is still there...And there were too many folks around last night...It SEEMS like its coming from the rear, but until I can get it back on jackstands and try again, the curve test has got to say something...Somebody here probably has heard of this before.

Sounds like a wheel bearing issue.

Axle bearing. That’s how I discovered mine the same way. Check the inside of your wheels for gear oil.

    Bigger battery..Elec in the bed..Topper,
Update..The ambient roar I had was the drivers side front bearing...I replaced the right side first because the noise ceased in right hand curves..Tak1313 told me that the curve method might not work since each bearing has races ( ?) and either side can fail and throw you off, which it did..But they both were really bad when turned by hand...The other problem I really had pegged as the pinion bearing and the crush sleeve...Well, my mechanic bud who has a shop checked it today...Its the trans output bearing..He saw a couple drops of fluid..So I think I can replace the seal and the output shaft bushing, if needed...Theres a thread here which explains it all, and the seal puller, etc..Said the seal is a common problem, so I feel much better since its not the differential..( that small grind I heard was explained by my friend , although I'm too beat to remember....And the shudder that developed the last couple weeks...The carrier bearing is fading too...I've learned a bunch lately about my truck...Especially by listening and reading here...One question...If this bushing is worn from excessive output shaft play, is that a huge deal for me to repair ? I think I can handle a seal and the carrier bearing..Thanks

One other item you may want to check while inspecting rear axle equipment. The below information was posted on Faye Hadley's YouTube channel about a service bulletin with working on the rear differential, (I give credit to the people who help us out). Make sure to replace the rear axle breather, $10 part, that can go bad.
    Here is her posted information:
In this video, I test, tear down, and discuss the importance of replacing Differential and Transfer Case breathers/vents regularly. I refer to Toyota T-SB-0047-16 The Toyota part # for this vent is: 90930-A3001 While I do recommend that you purchase genuine Toyota, if you want it cheaper and next day, there's a Dorman version on Amazon: https://amzn.to/3bJDOX6
Good information and solid recommendations within her video, but I stick with the Toyota OEM part for the price.
