Originally a 6 speed manual 5.7 car. 57k miles on chassis. Dropping a turbo all aluminum 5.3 LS in it with a 4L80E and a built ford 8.8 rear behind it. Stock style suspension. Full accessories (deleting ABS and trac control). Not much weight reduction, rock solid motorsports tubular front end and a bmr tubular k member. Rear seats/belts/mounts are gone as the 10 point roll cage will interfere with those anyways. Hoping to make a solid 900+whp on E85. Wheels and tires are gone and now sits on a 17x4 and 15x8 drag pack with mickey thompsons. Hoping to have running this summer.

Thanks! It’s a 2001 Kawasaki Super Sherpa with a updated front fender and headlight shroud, wrapped in Mossy Oak vinyl, custom rear rack, and a 308 big bore kit. I have a hard time leaving things in stock form haha

Edit: rack was built specifically to haul a 30 rack of Busch Lattes.

I get lots of thumbs up while sitting in traffic.

LOL, my wife has a comment for certain vehicles... If it's a jacked up 4x4 or something with a oversize rear spoiler she rolls her eyes. She walked by while I opened this new post in a thread I'm in and commented, "sorry to hear about his penis." I stick to lowered vehicles and never a spoiler. :rocket:

A recent addition to the stable, a 2012 F-150 STX with the 3.7 V6 and 4WD. Nothing too crazy or extraordinary, but it's a stout work truck and it handles very nicely for a full-size. It's about the same length as a DCSB Tacoma, so it's easy to park and drive in town. The first picture is from a recent road trip, the second is from last weekend when I towed a friend's Mustang to a car show.

So the past year and half have been an interesting move for me vehicle wise. I went from a Camry, 2nd Gen Tacoma, and a MK7 GTI. I didn't drive the GTI much anymore so when used car prices started getting high I sold it for a little bit of profit. So then I had just the 2015 Camry and my 2009 Tacoma. Decided since we were down to two vehicles I'd go with a brand new Tacoma and did so to replace the aging 2nd gen. After several months and miles quickly adding up on both we decided a 3rd vehicle/beater was going to be needed.

Marketplace was hit or miss for a while. I'd find something decent and it would be sold quickly. Thought I'd found a nice older Subaru from a co-worker, but that quickly fell apart. Another coworkers wife was looking to sell her car (she is actually the mother of an old friend). It was not getting used much as all as her health is taking a turn and is having trouble getting in it. It also needs alot of love that they just couldn't get done. So, here enters my 1995 Eagle Talon ESi (non-turbo), 5 speed manual. I actually helped put the engine in this thing back in 2006 while I was still in High School.

When I first brought it home:

After several hours (and dollars) worth of work:

The engine bay leaves a bit to be desired. Complete with all the 90's/early 2000's ricer mods:

It's still a little beat, but it has probably 250K miles on it by now. The speedometer stopped working a couple years ago. It's a slight bit of electrical hodge-podge so it's still taking time to get that working. It's a VERY temperamental car, never seen anything like it. Probably due to lack of emissions equipment. It also has an obnoxious fart can exhaust on it. Unfortunately it's a brand new stainless setup so I'm not spending money on a replacement at this point. Can't decide if I want to flip it, or just drive it...
