Well, I had a long post about these seat covers, but lost all the text when I went to create a gallery and upload the pics. Unfortunately I don't have the time to rewrite it all so here is a quick and dirty.

I hadn't seen these installed on here before so I thought I would show the end result. These pics were the night of the install. I have continued to snug things around the edges and it looks even better now. I am definitely happy with them.

The last picture was to prove that I use my truck like a farm truck and the interior takes a beating.

Let me know if you have any questions about install or anything else.

I have a set on the front seats of my access cab. I think they are great. And, you did a very nice install job.

Look great! What other seat covers did you look at? And what made you decide on these?
I have 2007 dbl cab -been looking these.
Are the difficult to install, do you have to remove the seats.
    Thank you

I browsed other kinds but I focused in on these quickly due to their form fit and I knew what was in store with the duck weave material.

They are probably difficult to install relative to other seat covers but still not too difficult. You don't have to remove the seats but you would just be making it harder on yourself. I removed the rear backs completely and then took out the bolts of the front and just left them in place and tipped them up as needed.

If you take your time and really snug them they look really good. I had rubber grip gloves that made grabbing them easy and that helped a lot. They come in gray as well. They're not cheap but make sure they are the precision fit ones, I wouldn't waste your time on the cheaper version from Carhartt that isn't as form fitting.

I have had my Carhart covers on for just about 4 years now, love the hell out of them. Mine don't fit quite as tightly as yours do, but I'm not too picky, they are about 98% as snug as yours appear to be. Mine are the grey, to go with my trucks interior.

I am not so nitpicky that I spent hours getting every last wrinkle out of mine, so they don't look as snug and perfect fitting as many others do. I have also removed and washed them a few times over the last 4 years.

Did they not come with a center consul cover? You would think with how much you pay for them that could come with it.

Anyway I’m looking at the PrecisionFit for the front and the cheaper SeatSaver for the rear in grey since they are already expensive and mostly my dog will just be back there.

Thanks for posting pictures with the more expensive option! I wanted to know how they look and they look SIIIIICK!

Look great and sounds like they're worth the price point. Was always hesitant with how much a full double cab setup would cost. Great looking truck too!

So forgive me, I didn't have time to read through the entire exchange. But you described your set as ''Precision Fit'' and they certainly look to be.

The guy with the gray, all though they look good, but not as custom fit for say. Questions are, are these two different models or offerings from Carhartt? Perhaps, regular vs. Precision Fit? Or are yours new and tight-fitting whereas the gentleman with the Gray ones broke in and loosened up through use?

I am considering seat covers for my Taco and yours look very nice. Are you still happy with them and are they still tight-fitting etc?

Was wondering the same thing. When I was looking at seat covers for my 2012 all the Carhartt ones seemed to fit loose. Maybe the Precession Fit is only offered for the 3rd gens.

Precision fit is a different line than the loose covers- Carhartt material by covercraft.
