I sold Dent Bucket 1.0(like an idiot), had a 5th gen 4runner but was not about the overland thing.

    IMG_4375.jpg
Dent Bucket 1.0..sadness. Usual build dual lockers, FJ case, 63s, clapped out ifs front, Dana60 35 spline rear, fuel cell...usual stuff. See it's build for more info.

In comes Dent Bucket 2.0...2014 DCSB 4x4 AT. I copied @FlyinRyan893 basically.

    IMG_0602.HEIC.jpg

Plans are to basically ruin it just like the other one but also, not really.

    Front Suspension:
    -Bilstein B8112 Coilovers
    -JDFAB UCAs (0.25")
    -JDFAB Spindle Gussets
    -Tacotab alignment tabs
    -BTF LCAs

    Rear Suspension:

    -Stock AF

    Engine:

-Tuned ECU w/secondary air pump removed
    -Intake relocated to cowl
-Howe TC steering pump (JD fab kit)

    Drivetrain:
    -ADD deleted
    -Fj case swap
-Dana 60 rear axle, 4.88 gears, Detroit locker, 35 spline chromoly shafts.

    Wheels/Tires:

    -Method MR701 17x8.5, 0 offset
-Nitto Ridge Grappler 295/70/17 (to hold me over for a bit)

    Misc:

    Pending Installs:

    -battery relocation to bed

2 Weeks ago started cutting into it. First thing was a cab mount relocate. I learned a lot from the last build and well...I want to do things right the first time kinda.

    IMG_0600.HEIC.jpg
Courtesy of NTK Fab who also was kind enough to work with me on a different yet simpler slider idea that I think will work better than the last set.

    IMG_0599.HEIC.jpg

I'm excited to put these through their paces. Next up, I put in some 5100s set to 0.85", 2 days ago.

    IMG_0601.HEIC.jpg

    Shiny and stuff.

I will be going 37s with this one so I'll be building a stronger rear axle before adressing the rear suspension.

Nice rig, look forward to see the progress. Don’t hold your breath on that RST speedo kit he fell off the face of the earth. You can make it for about 1/10 of what he’d charge anyhow.

Thanks! Truth. I have the parts on my watch list on eBay. I saw that toyota makes like 5 different gears for the sensor. They go deeper than I thought. I need to look at my email for the instructions from my last truck on what wire goes where.

Gonna post up some info on making the "RST Speedo kit" on your own:

First you need the sensor: I chose to use this one https://www.ebay.com/itm/33-Teeth-Transmission-Output-Vehicle-Speed-Sensor-Fit-Chevrolet-Pontiac-Toyota/222578991329?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

It is a 33 tooth but for me going 37s and hopefully 5.29/5.38 a 30 tooth would be the closest. This would be toyota part number 33403-39365.

This thread has gear part numbers as well as goes in-depth as to how they work. You want the electronic sensor gears not the cable ones: https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/speedometer-correction-by-t-case-gear-change.480939/

Aside from that you need a connector and some wiring. Here is a link to Wyatt's old build thread showing where to connect what: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/building-the-beast.23170/page-15

Definitely protect the wires from the exhaust. It gets close. I will post up some pics when I get around to getting it installed.

This can be done for about $50 the right way then you can go full float rear and still have a speedometer.

Also worth adding in case your transfer case did not come with the worm gear in it and it is just a spacer is the part numbers for the worm gear and the tiny bearing/ball:

    ball/bearing: 9036005012
    worm gear: 3348135151

No real updates. Got the front windows tinted today and bought another ECU to send out to get HPtuned.

I can still see inside. It's not dark enough, need some of that 5%.

Swapped in a new ECU tuned by @JustDSM . The truck is way more drivable now and has actual throttle response. Best of all, I got to remove the whole SAI system.

    IMG_0948.HEIC.jpg IMG_0947.HEIC.jpg

Currently waiting on some Marlin Crawler LCA bracket gussets to show up so those can get burned in.

Lots of stuff showed up today. Some JD fab goodies as well as some Marlin gussets. Should get it all installed in the next few weeks. IMG_1154.HEIC.jpgIMG_1156.HEIC.jpg

    Few Updates:

    IMG_1844.HEIC.jpg
Coil bucket gussets are on as well as JD Fab UCAs.

    64902330813__2E630B23-478D-46AF-9CD6-86258E9EA45D.HEIC.jpg
Deleted the 4x4 knob in preparation of an FJ case swap as well as pulling the 4wd ECU. Case has already arrived just waiting on some shop time so I can swap it in and do the ADD delete.

JD Fab pivots are already here as well just waiting on a bigger slot of shop time so that can go in.

Got the solid ADD tube/ADD delete done finally between shifts and nap times.
    IMG_2517.HEIC.jpg
I have the old one with hardware and tube up for grabs $200 shipped. I'm sure someone needs a spare.

Took an updated truck pic after I threw on some wheels and tires to hold me over for a bit while I keep upgrading stuff. Nothing too exciting.
    IMG_2516.HEIC.jpg
Also, here's a pic of my other rig that I spend entirely too much time on. Good ol EC-145.

FJ case is in and the interior is sealed up. I need to get the center console back together. I don’t wanna cut up the shifter but I know I’ll have to. Lights and sensors all work too and no need to wire an ADD switch.
