It is actually a recycle fee of $5/tire, not $20/tire. So add $20 and HST and it is $629.36. About a 25% discount overall.

These tires are on sale again next week. May 7-13

and for some reason the larger rim diameter tires have a higher recycling fee. Less rubber, go figure

Thanks for the write up and review.
Information like this would be appropriate in the Canada thread too.

They’re just a cooper at3. Wonder what they did differently to meet Motomaster specs. I can’t imagine they’ve improved from Cooper’s own version branded in their name.

I’ve never considered a motomaster tire. Any set of them I’ve ever seen mounted have obvious bulges at the seams. Just seems poorly made. If I was going to get a Cooper at3 I’d compare these by price though and I guess they’re about the same quality.

I had to laugh at the comment about needing a beefier sidewall because they look thin. As if you can tell. They’re 10 ply tires. My Michelin Agilis I run on my f350 have the toughest/stiffest sidewall on any road tire and they look like the side of any other tire. How many times have you seen a duratrac with a huge gash in the sidewall despite their super cool rugged beefy sidewall lugs.

Heads up these are on sale right now, 600$ CDN for LT265/75R16

My cooper at3's are at 6/32nd and Im thinking of buying these for my rusty rig.

I'd never recommend a tire like these, but the price is awesome for what you get compared to other chinese brands.

There are a couple sets of 4 on the island as well - might have to grab a set before they are gone. And I have half of the price in CT money so that makes for a pretty cheap set of tires!

when I was a kid, my grandfather worked for Wilson’s fuels and they had a deal where if you gave $50 they’d give you $100 in Canadian tire money. Was a sweet deal and wish I could still get it. My province did away with CT money in favour of the points card. Which is at a greatly reduced rate

I have one of the CT credit cards - they have some pretty good deals with the points system for cc holders. We just bought a new house so all the home improvement stuff is going to pay for my new tires:)

Same here. I haven’t paid for a set of tires in years. I only get my gas there and get $3-5 every fill up. End up with about $1000 a year in CT money between gas, CT and Sport Chek purchases.

I wish we had CT gas bars here in BC - don't know why we don't. We do get get 4 cents per liter at Husky stations but where we live we don't have a Husky:(

Does it say that anywhere?, I only buy ethanol free gasoline and I heard that CT, Coop and Shell V power. But only Shell displays the O% Ethanol on their V power!, some think that Costco gas doesn't add ethanol to their premium...but does it say it anywhere?

It does in New Brunswick yea. Says “up to 10% ethanol” for 87 and 89. Might vary by provincial regulation though.

same thing here in ns. The premium doesn’t have the May contain up to 10% ethanol

Pretty damn good price. I bought my Duratracs from Canadian Tire, when they had that buy 3 get 4th free deal. They seem to have it quite a few times a year.

I still prefer the Duratracs over Cooper.:101010:
