In for solutions since my wife has lower back issues and finds the passenger seat not that comfortable for longer than 1 hour trips.

I would start with the dessert does it seat jackers in the front. They have completely changed the feeling of the seat. It's almost like you installed a whole different seat. They make long rides feel less fatiguing. I find myself moving around trying to get comfortable far less than before they were installed. I spend several hours driving daily, these have been amazing and are probably my favorite mod so far. I have tried many of the lumbar support pads, they seem to always move around and not help much. And for me, I'm in and out if the truck all day so trying to get the damn pad in the perfect spot every time was frustrating. Just when I get it in the perfect spot I have to get out of the truck. Then the cycle starts over again. That poopy.

My physical therapist recommended one of these, (McKenzie lumbar rolls - https://www.amazon.com/Original-McKenzie-Lumbar-Roll-OPTP/dp/B000H47GCO?th=1 ) to me about 7 years ago.
At first, I felt like most people do when they try one, ie: "Oh HELL no! This is too :censored:ing big!" ; however, when I took a couple of days to get used to it, it helped my posture tremendously.
Also, I no longer get ass-implosion when I drive. I use one anywhere I have to sit for a while, except of course - during ass-explosions.(TMI?):sorry:
Lastly, know that they do sell them in "compliance" levels, so you may want to start low an move up.
