SOLD: BAMF Low Profile Bed Rack $500 - Western PA

Oh... the listing says Western, Pa... so I figured you were in western Pennsylvania. I was going to drive up. Why ship it over a couple hour ride for me from Maryland? And as far as the original shipping, whelp that’s just not really on me, or should it be factored into your sale price... MSRP is all that matters once it’s used. If you buy a used vehicle, you don’t factor in the original destination charge and dealer prep. So that being said... my offer stands.

 

When did Pittsburgh leave western PA?...I respect your opinion, as built MSRP is $735 today, the finish isn't perfect, so I discounted for that, if you want brand new from BAMF you're looking at almost $1000 shipped, I think $550 is a perfectly reasonable price for something that needs some cleanup to be perfect, but is fully functional as is. If you're serious and actually willing to drive up to Pittsburgh shoot me a PM and we can try to work something out in between, but anything less that $450 is just low balling.

 

Here’s some close ups of the surface rust on the finish. Nothing that wouldn’t come off with a wire wheel and could be touched up with rattle can. I’m just not trying to hide it and help someone get a great rack, basically to match the bare metal without the cost of shipping across the country. Or a fully functional imperfect coated rack.

 

I would agree with you if it were something available from a local vendor. But since this is a specific item, only available from a guy on the other side of the country I really dont think its out of line to account for shipping costs in the sale price. Just my .02

 

Bump, anyone out there interested on working out an actual deal? Warmer weather is coming, so delivery radius can expand if it gives me an excuse to go camping

I doubt this will fit under my Softopper, but let me take some measurements and see.

I'm in MD, but travel across PA turnpike frequently to go back to my home state of Ohio.

 

If you're just looking to transport, it would definitely fit, but if that is your intended installation; I'm not sure how you would fit it under as the tubes land on a plate that rests on the bedsides, and most soft toppers I see run along those bedsides. If you want to give it a shot though we can just try it out next time you're passing through.

Both would be competing for the space on top of the bedrails. Thanks anyway. If I can think of a way to rig it up to work (so I have best of both worlds), I'll let you know.

 

If you still have it at the end of June when we move up that way I may be interested. Moving to the Youngstown area so not a bad drive at all.
