They're steel with plastic skid resistant step pads. The 3rd Gen specific is Aluminum with a hefty $$. These are 2nd Gen specific but half the cost.

Good thing I’ll always have a need for a light bar but no winch. That’s why I went the route I did

@tclavell Just went back and looked at the picture of your light bar and noticed the 12v plug in the lower facia. Nice!

you did this very nice and clean. Any pic from the side? I find this is where the viper cut loses me on appeal from the side view where the flare is.

77ACE194-A9AC-4A04-BD95-870F50539550.jpg Just had to replace my battery. I have a 2017 TRD sport.
I went to go home from work and got the death rattle…..so picked up a Duralast Gold 750 battery. Hope its a decent battery. It has a 3 year warranty through autozone, so if it sucks there’s that.
What batteries have you guys switched to after your factory battery died?

TRD emblems, tinted windows, OEM running boards, AVS vent shades, RMAS upgrade, LED lights in front and rear, interior LED lighting upgrade, LED lighting in bed, touch control dash mount for LED lighting, auxillary 12v and USB jacks in bed, replace all speakers with Infinity, custom mod with Bose tweeters, TRD Pro illumination mod...
I was on my 2nd OEM battery in my 2017 TRD OR. Got tired of not knowing it would start on a cold Monday morning so I purchased an Eliminator from Canadian Tire. The truck actually turns over faster and I can have the lights on all afternoon and not worry about it not starting.

My 2016 died last winter so I got a good five
The OEM battery on my 2016 died last fall, so I got almost 5 years out of it. I picked up whatever they have at Costco (Interstate I think). My dealership was going to charge me $135 for the OEM battery with a 4 year warranty, which really isn't that bad.

This battery is taller than the OEM and therefore a bit heavier as well. I discovered a spacer underneath the OEM battery which I had to remove.

I'm hoping its a good one, but even if it dies in one year or less, warranty will get me a new one so it's all good. I'll post up on here if it dies before it should
