Custom DIY subwoofer box plans for 2019

This is a sub box I just completed for my 2019 TRD Sport. I'm not sure if it the same as for the 2016 and up but it fits my 19 exact. I made it for the rear seat passenger side so I could have easy access and use the driver's side rear storage. As you can see I made it to fit perfectly under the things to attach car seats. I don't have a car seat to see how it fits but you may want to make your box just a little shorter than mine to be sure it will work. I made it with 1/2 sheet of MDF (4'x4'). the outside is painted with a roller with automotive truck bed liner paint for more sound deadening. The inside area measures to around .67 cu ft. I used an Alpine 10" SWT-10s2 sub because it was shallow enough to fit in the box. I also installed sound deadening to the whole back area all the way across and on the floor. There are no rattles. It is hooked up to an Alpine mono amp. The bass is great just from the one sub. I don't pound the bass in my music so it's more than enough.

The sub's with is 28". You need to remove the plastic that goes on the back part of the cab and the one on the rear of the back seat but you can't tell it's not there when the seat is back to it's normal upright position.

I included pics of a cardboard mockup to make sure it would fit.

Yes. Sub sounds great. I don’t pound it though. Not meant to be cranked up until the glass rattles. Serves my purpose.

Took your dimensions and compensated for 3/4 inch mdf. Also 3D printed a port. Fits perfect. Sounds awesome. Thanks for the plans !

How much room did you have between the box and the seat (for the woofer/grill)?

 

No grill and no room...sounds awsome....
