    I don't own a welder, nor do I weld.

That and the few nearby can't get me in during my small availability.

There are slider-less kids in Tacomaworld saving up their pennies for the glorious day when they can put in an order and wait another 16+ weeks for delivery, while you lose yours under a mountain of other uninstalled parts

It's getting so expensive to buy the fuckers with rising steel costs I'm just gonna have to make my next set.

    You're fucking right.

Materials alone as new development for houses has gone up a lot recently.

Yeah, I'm glad I never picked up the nasty habit of woodworking, bunch of necrophiliacs getting their rocks off reshaping dead tree carcasses. Steel is more affordable right now but not by a wide margin.

in this case, no. The shafts are double ended splined since it's a full float setup.

Its partly why my wife is pushing hard for us to move within a year, I've got truck parts stashed in our daughter's room because there's no place else to put them.

    Yep!

I've noticed all the complaints on here and social media about the turn arounds for shocks.

Rebuilds are coming by quick and easy; new shocks/coilovers though...don't hold your breath.

Seems like an easy fix, build her a nice little house in the lawn and fill up the room, sounds like she's in the way.

I did hear that 5100s were on backorder for a long time in one thread

Maybe I should sell mine with the 881s I have sitting in our storage shed, though I like to keep them as backup for when my Kings get rebuilt

Oh I mean swapping the shafts from one wheel to the other. Thinking that if the leak moves with the shaft, maybe there's something wrong with it.

That assumes of course that the shafts have something to do with sealing. which the more I think about it, I don' think they do on a ff axle.

gotcha. In this case the shaft goes through the center of the seal... I did swap side to side when I had it apart last spring and I don't think I noticed any damage/burr on the shafts that would tear up the seal.

Our yard is fast becoming part storage too, I've already turned the side of the house into a graveyard of parts I've taken off but don't want to sell....even though I should.

Couple old tires, budbilt ifs and belly skid (cough @Kwikvette cough), my tailgate, AP Expo leaf springs...some other stuff I"m forgetting

Tailgate I don't want to part with, Nelson needs to come grab the skids and the tires are good for spares....the Expos are trash and I should just take them to the recycle center
