Can this be used to sip power off the mirror?

 

I'm in Cambridge. probably. I had it powered with an add a fuze on the box under the dash. I know there is 12v in the mirror, would take some splicing.

 

did you have good luck with the parking monitoring? that is why you hard wired it right?

 

I had it hard wired to switched power. Never intentionally used parking mode... If i had the truck on and hadn't moved for a bit i would be notified that the camera switched to parking mode.
