Costco - Massimo 500w

Hit up Massimo and they said they’re restocking Costco on 3/15.

 

I just bought the massimo 50liter fridge that’s on sale right now for 280. I looked into this power station but went with the bluetti acs50 based on YouTube vids.

 

I definitely bought the same fridge. Going to see if the power station gets in. Can’t beat the Costco return if it isn’t great.

 

You guys have a link for the sale price on the fridge? I still see it as full price.

 

The sale ended on 3/10. It comes back every now and again though.

 

If they're made by the same Massimo company that makes SXS's I wouldn't buy one if they were a dollar.

 

I ended up buying the ecoflow river max from rei with their 20% off coupon. 720 capacity and was 519.

 

How do you like the Jackery 500? Was thinking of buying it to use for my solar setup on a 2 month long road trip but want to hear how it works from folks who have it

 

I had to look it up. Average power consumption on the 50L fridge is ~50W. Not terrible for a fridge, but still. The 500W power station (which has a 540Wh battery on board) will power it for 10 hours. Not quite enough for a weekend.


If they made a car version of a 3-way fridge, I'd be all over it. But Im sticking to ice as my camper backup. Electric coolers eat too much battery for my purposes.

 

Have used mine nomading around for two months now. Works perfect. Price is right as most others are about $1.00 per watt.

 

I returned mine because of the non regulated 12V DC would not power the fridge. Replaced it with the Ecoflow River Pro 720WH 600W inverter for $429 on sale at costco.

Might anyone know if the 110 volt receptible in the bed of a 2017 Tacoma can charge the Massimo 500W power station?
FYI, another power station option is the Anker PowerHouse II 400 388Wh on Amazon. The list price is $460, but using the code 0SYDKPP6 the price is $240.

100W AC outlet in the bed will charge it. I bought the Massimo 500 at Costco and soon returned it because the 12V output is not regulated. The actual voltage was at 11.7 when fully charged and started dropping from there. By the time it was at 50% charge the output voltage was below 11V and too low to run my fridge. I think you just missed the Costco sale on the EcoFlow River Pro 720 which has a regulated 12V output and 720 amp hours.

Massimo products are trash, don't waste your money on anything they sell.
