First run was June 2021


Figured it would be better to get an organized thread for trip discussion. Dates are up for discussion. Location is about an hour east of Fallon. The trails aren't just gravel roads, but still semi easy.There is one area that is a little rocky, and I rode the sliders in my sxs, but it doesn't have much ground clearance. I think a stock taco with good tires and some careful driving would be ok. I would recommend decent tires and the ability to tolerate some brush scratches. The camp spot is large and mostly grassy with a creek running through it. It does sit at about 7000' elevation, so the nights will be chilly. This place is kind of a local gem, so I don't want to put coords for the entire world to see, but if you want some, let me know, I can pm them to you. Oh there are also some hot springs in the valley about a half hour from the camp spot if anyone wants to hit them up.

I am down to go if it’s June 5/6. I have to work the other weekends.

 

I'm in, whatever dates work for everyone else is fine.

 

I'd love to go but I never know how my weekends will be, but I'm gonna try. Thanks for setting it up either way.

Do you have to drive through a certain ranch to get there?

 

If the gate was ever unlocked you could. The shortest way in is a road around the south border of the ranch to get back there.

 

Hell yeah! And we should try to do it more often than every 7 years.

 

Anyone bringing kids?

 

I can't believe its been that long.

 

That's for sure. Doesn't feel that long.

 

If no one has any objections I was going to bring my wife and 5yo daughter.
