Hello guys, i recently bought my ford cortina mk3 with v6 engine 3litre and did engine Overhaul thus, changed sleeve, all bearings, crank grinding, slight scheme on the head new headgasket, stampseals and rings but im now having a challenge, the motor runs smooth when starting but has a knock sound when it reaches operating temperature and gets louder if you accelerate....... At first i thought i had made an error on its work and engaged other mechanics twice, but none seems to know the cause of the sound...... We inspected the bearings but they were all ok but the knock sound is still there....... Need your help guys

There may well be someone here who can help you, we have thousands of members.

However, not many of our members are poking around looking for Ford threads. Especially in the new members section.

You should have more success on another forum.

    Good luck!
