It looks like the hitch is the entire rear bumper. Here's a closer shot of the receiver and 7 pin connector location and the hitch mounting location from RIVIAN's site. It seems it's mounted underneath the frame rail with side bolts if that part of the main frame rail is aluminum or welded to the frame if it's steel. I believe the frame rails are aluminum.

Better than $110k for a GMC HUmmer EV. Prices will start coming down as the market saturates

Yeah. If I’m going to sell a kidney, I’d get a Bollinger before either of those options.

I came across this today. ck this out if you don't know much about it. Rather than start another thread I'll just revive this one. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KGqexebCcUo
I'm so impressed with this thing, especially the off road capability of it. May seriously consider this thing. Just wish the front end didn't look like a robot. Those headlights. LOL

For that price I'd rather buy a F-350, and the fuel needed to propel it. I don't mind fueling a vehicle. I think I'd rather go to a gas station than plug in my vehicle everyday.

Yeh they call them 'stadium lights'. But I like the push button 6" lift. That's just a great idea.

Why are people calling this thing “seriously capable offroad?” I’ve only seen Subraru trails so far.

Now… what happens when you take a water crossing…. And something let’s water into the battery..

It’s a neat concept. But I still don’t think I’ll ever buy an EV truck

Been discussed before. Batteries and motors are sealed and IP rated for like 39" of water depth. It's designed to go through water.

Well time will tell. If the seal breaks it's under warranty.
