    Lol, I actually did something sorta like that. He has 2 small yappy dogs. They are inside dogs and we hardly ever hear them, however occasionally he'll be gone overnight and will leave them out in the backyard. Our bedroom is on the back corner of the house, about 8-10ft from where they stand at the fence and just barkbarkbarkbarkbark all night long. This has happened several times and it drives us to near insanity.

    So I got one of these. Anytime they start barking I turn it on and hold it above the fence. Works like a charm - one or two barks after it's on and then silence. Worth it's wait in gold.
