Yeah they had me do that a while back with a faulty gauge that the LED display was messed up on. Felt criminal putting it in a vise but they sent me a new one so it worked out alright

Nice! I just received tracking info for my kit! I'll be tackling the install in one week.

Not sure if you ever fixed it but does sound like shudder and/or low fluid. There's very little about upgraded torque converters other than sales websites. I toasted one a750 thinking it had proper amount fluid. Trans would chuckle at low rpm, and sometimes stutter. It's possible fluid is sloshing around to back of the pan.

At any rate. Took home my toasted one for later rebuild and bought a "low mileage" junk yard a750 and Florida Torque Converter HD build (requested for the HD build, they said the materials are more robust and handle boost properly). Now with new converter and new to me trans, installed the ratiotek VB kit. It's really good and no shutter. Lugging, it holds at low RPM in higher gear fine as well.

Low fluid -stutter and lurching on accel

    Full fluid

    Hope you fixed your problem

Considering your truck is a 2007 , I can imagine it was a daily driver and has accumulated a lot of miles . Not sure what you've got on the clock now ?
Did your transmission get regular fluid changes ? What I am saying is day to day driving kills the valve body if not serviced frequently .
I doubt the ratio tech shift improver kit is going to be your fix at this point .
Interested to know if the tune removes the flex lock up feature in your 07 ?
As others have mentioned , IPT is probably your best bet for a full valve body restoration or do it yourself with a Trans-go .

Sorry for the lag boys. Been a busy week at the office. Stock exhaust, headers, and 33" tires. You'll make a solid 324 hp with 306ft lbs of torque!! Gitterdun

Nice! How do you like the overall feel of the Procharger? Does it have decent low end and pull strong?

Tbh I don't notice the difference in low end power but that was to be expected with a pulley style SC. It's all in the top end. To be fair though if I mashed the throttle at low speeds before the SC was installed it still pulled like a BEAST.

Yeah, these little motors pull pretty good even with 33s down low. I’m like most others, trying to decide which one to purchase. I love low end torque and quick response, but I also love passing power l, too! Dam!

Curious if that 6400 redline was just for the dyno ;)

Realistically how worried should I be about the rods on only 98 more hp? I never hit redline on the street but I don't know much about forced induction vehicles to begin with.

I think it helps everywhere. But I'm not one to stomp on the gas from lower speeds. The truck is heavy enough as it is with full skids and bumpers, winch, etc.
