    I see posts on our town's community FB page at least once a week from this happening. It's getting out of hand. Kind of surprised my lifted 1st gen hasn't been hit, but maybe they try and target newer vehicles for less contaminated cats, IDK. Mine are aftermarket anyway so jokes on them.

    Actually it would still be on me, even aftermarket ones are ridiculously expensive right now.

    Someone in our neighborhood got their Prius hit about a year ago, heard what sounded like a tractor going down the block at 6am. Looked out the window and the last thing I expected to see was a Prius making that noise.

    Apparently they are big targets because their cats don't get used as much being hybrid and all, worth more money

    So, do they resell them as parts for other cars like a chop shop sort of thing, or do they just scrap them?
