Took ownership November of 2019. 11 months after I totalled my 96' Taco (It shall be missed forever) Never forget the day I saw the ad for it and knew it was the truck for me. Love at first sight

Not kidding when I said love at first site LOL. My now wife took this picture. She laughed at me but inside she loves it too

Took it out in the first month and added some solid dents and almost got stuck. Smart ol me just went out by myself with no armour nor recovery gear.
First thing I did to the truck (Aside from running a bunch of spare circuits to the back of the truck and a new stereo) Was the adding SpiderTrax spacers.
Was made fun of it from everyone but honestly after I put them on everyone appreciated the look.

Not something I have seen anyone else do but I would highly recommend. Getting rid of the rear seat storage. Those plastic containers take up a lot of valuable space.

And then got new headlights because I hated how dim my stock ones were

Finally added some Armour! First time welding too. My Father In Law used to be an industrial welding and was absolutely down to teach me. Did really well and I found a new hobby

Did some pretty sick mall crawling

After the powdercoating I got married a couple months later and my wife asked for a picture with my truck and there was no way I was going to say no haha

Had a week where I finally got motivation to do things ive been saying I was going to build for months. Side rails and a roof rack

The the big bucks were spent and I did a 3inch lift on the truck. With the loads I tow and put in my truck the leaf springs were flat and my suspension wasnt great. Ride now it super smooth and love it. Also love the clearance and height I have now.
This damn job took 12 hours for the front alone. Everything was rusted out and needed to be cut. Sucked balls to do and I said the whole time why would I ever do this. I hate working on vehicles I'll never do it again. Next day I was happy and realized I loved working on vehicle still.

Thats where I am now. I'll keep working on the truck and hopefully be able to hit some trails soon. All my buddies have been super busy with life and we cant find time to get out. In the last years ive only been able to head out 4/5 times and ive been itching to get out. Hopefully soon.

Ill be keeping an updated photo of bumper stickers I add down here.
Also as reference I support Canadian Gas and Oil because without it, I wouldn't have a Job nor a taco to play with
