My pickup is making a low-pitched humming noise like a vacuum whining sound, when in gear, in the front end, only at real low speed. Goes away with acceleration. Does anyone know what this could be?

2007 with 153K miles, lifted 2". Had it checked by two different mechanics. Notes: New stabilizer bar and replaced bushings, two-wheel alignment. Said, no other problems.
I drove my pickup 308 miles home today (my first real road trip with the pickup). Sound seems worse just now. Please note that I know nothing about mechanics. Thank you for any advice!

Check to see if the sound goes away in 4X4. If it does your needle bearing is bad. Guys swap it out with the ECGS bearing.

My v6 has a loud vibration at idle in gear. It's the air intake. Loosen the clamp on the air filter housing the rotate the tube clockwise. Holding it in place whilst tightening the clamp.
