I kid...just poking a 'lil fun. In all honesty, I think these co-projects are a good idea...had a Scion FR-S for 5 years, and loved every minute of it. I work at the local Toyota dealer, and would love to take a Supra home. The only real downside to me is the lack of a manual transmission. I want one, but I'm waiting on the new GR 86 before I make up my mind. It will either be a new 86 (keep the Mustang), or Sell the Mustang and buy a Supra.

Looks like someone had a bad day back then, guessing the liquid on the ground is gasoline.

Every time I see a 66 Fairlane, I cry. In 1977 I found one sitting at the back of a used car lot in Norman, Ok. It was a 2 door hardtop, 289, 4 speed, and the body was perfect. The gear shifter was broken off, it needed a ball joint and two wheel cylinders. I paid $100 for it. A friend and I towed the car home, replaced the ball joint, put in wheel cylinders, bled the brakes, welded the shifter, got on the highway in front of his house, did a bunch of smokey burnouts, and then we gutted it, put in a roll cage, and went dirt track racing. I was such an idiot.

Wow, I bet you wish you had gone a different path with that car.

Sympathies... But most of us old enough to appreciate too much power have stories like that. I never cut up a car to make it into a drag car, but I sent some to the junk yard.

At least you had fun in it. I love this car because my dad drove one when I was a kid. Didn’t think anything of it back then but would love to have it now or one like it because you don’t see them around.
