If folks like the pro look so much, why don’t they just buy a pro?

I know I am the only so cal loser who can’t afford a Pro bro grille. That’s ok.

I am happy with my OR grille

it’s a few thousand dollar difference between my 2021 DCLB premium OR and a Pro.

as much as I love the pro - my need of a LB won out

Actually no, when the dealership disables it, it can’t be turned back on. In fact you have to buy another sensor if you want it back. I had it done to my truck. Only con is that the off light remains illuminated in the dash

Also I agree with the OP's title, I see Pro grills on many Tacos where I live. Not a bad thing though, as it a great looking grill.

As for me, I went with the Rigid Industries, primarily because I wanted another LED light bar pointed higher up than my bumper light, which mostly lights up right in front of the truck. My buddy has a light bar mounted to his prinsu, and I didn't like the glare it causes, so the grill mounted light bar was my solution. The one good thing is that I haven't seen another one in the wild yet, so at least I have something relatively unique to my rig. And that may be due to there are very few people out there stupid enough to pay as much as I did for a grill + light :D

I do get plenty of use out of it though, since it is hot as Fu@# out here in the desert during summer so I go shooting at night. I'm usually barreling through the trail at 35-45mph and there are some tight turns, so imperative to be able to see where the hell I'm going.

    Cool stuff
Thats not right .... they should set it to “remember last setting” which would give you no lights

Personally I’m not a huge fan of the PRO grille. It sticks out a bit, making the huge front end look even bigger, and almost every friggin Tacoma has it. My buddy put it on his off-road and I’m not a huge fan at all. I painted my ugly chrome bezel, tinted the toyota logo and I’m happy.

IMO the 2020+ SR grille is the best looking, they finally nailed it.

Neither. I got rid of the chrome surround and used a black SR5 surround instead.

Of course I’m a little biased and agree. I DO love the Pro grills, but I’m going to take my stock SR and install LED’s in it to make a not so common seen Raptor style grill. (FYI, thanks for loaning me the pic so I could draw the lights in - haha). Also - thoughts between 3 and 4 LED’s? My diesel F250 has three so I figured ill keep em the same….

Current SR grille (with black bezel) is hands-down the best non-Pro grille out there IMO.

If you're joking, I like your style.

Hmm, I would say 3 lights? Looks more proportional to me, but again, it’s not my truck.:)

Did you get this recently? Does it work with the TSS system? I'm a huge fan of how this grill looks, and I love the added functionality of a light bar (I live in AK. It gets dark here.), but from what I've seen, Rigid stopped manufacturing these grills. I'd love to find a similar product if that's the case.

I'm thinkin' just to remove the stock grill and front bumper completely. Just run the raw radiator and mounts.

    True minimalist!

Leave the back end stock, to confuse folks.

Just to be different. I despise group conformity! ;-)

I like my heritage grill, however, I think I would like it more if it did not have the TOYOTA across it and were all pattern.

What is the deal with disabling the TSS sensor? I have had mine in for service once since changing the grill and I am going in Friday for the fuel pump. I wouldn’t authorize them to disable the sensor, and I don’t see how they would have any right to make a change I have not authorized; it’s not their property, it’s not their call.
