Decided to "trade" my brother my Glock 45 for his 43. Didn't realize the 43 was slimmer than the 43x I wanted. Time to get my 45 back! I carry it concealed but in a backpack so size isn't a concern. Just wanted to slimmer frame of the 43x. But I do like that 17 round capacity.

What caliber? Is it still in original packaging? I’ve got cases and cases of surplus 7.62x54R, mostly Czech silver tip from the 60s, but I have some 147 grain that’s older than that. Combloc countries knew how to package ammo for long term storage.

Put the 22 and 25 in the trash, gave the rest to a LGS owner. He gave me $10 for 2 of the 30-06 rounds since they were sabots.

Hmmmmm......my brother may want to buy my Ruger PC Charger with the folding SB Tactical brace. I had been thinking about selling that and getting an AR9 platform so I can run a PDW brace.

    Thoughts on that?

I’d think either are great. The AR9 pistol I got hat the KAK brace I’m still kinda undecided if I like it or not.

Anyone have a 10/22 takedown model?

Was wondering about how tight the fit is when assembled.

I dont have the 10/22 takedown, but I do have the PC carbine which is a takedown. it locks up tight, there is a ring that you can rotate at the lockup point to adjust the fit if needed. (not sure if the 10/22 has same ring) no issues.

I built my takedown from a Brownells BRN22 receiver and a WhistlePig Takedown barrel. Very tight tolerances and locks up very well. Everything is mounted in a Magpul X22 Takedown Stock.

You got $5 a piece for those? I have a whole box I bought many years ago for less than $15 :D

I was talking about this with a co-worker. I like the compactness of the Ruger and wasn't thinking that with an AR9, you'd have to have a buffer tube. Increasing the OAL even with the PDW. You'd have to get the LAW folding adapter for $300 (JUST FOR THE ADAPTER!) to achieve the same thing that I already have. The other options for something similar that can run the PDW are the CZ Scorpion and Stribog. Love both of those but at around $1000ish for each, plus another $250-$300 for the PDW, I think I'm just going to stick with my Ruger.

Do they have time for that in between shipping machine guns to Mexican drug cartels?
