Hey guys I’m getting a loud popping noise coming from my front suspension. I just installed my SPC UCAs and king coils after I started driving I noticed some popping in the front end coming from what seems to be the spindle area. Not knowing what it could be I ended up replacing my lower control arms thinking it would solve the issue. Turns out it didn’t and the noise is more noticeable please help!

Noises are tough, but helpful if you're able to recreate it from a parked position. If not, recreate it going slow and someone watching and listening from the outside. If still unable to find, find someone with the chassis ear to hook up and hone in on the location of the pop.

I had a pop a while back and it turned out to be my drive side body mount. Only happened when going over a bump and couldn't recreate it parked. Used chassis ear to find it. No one really thought it was the body mount since the truck wasn't that old at the time.

Edit: Also could be the SPC UCA's. I installed new ones a couple years back and both the bushings and ball joint needed replacement. Faulty parts. My bushings would make a pop sound.

It’s your cvs. It’s normal for some lifted trucks with worn cv axels. Happens when the wheel is turned correct?

Could also be the sway bar contacting the coils.

Another way to hunt for noises is to remove the wheel and slowly compress the suspension with a jack, wiggling/shaking things as you go. If you can remove both wheels you can also test at different wheel orientations.
