    Hey gang,

I’ve read a lot of threads on here about engine shuttering and I’m just wanting to give insight to my situation.

I noticed my Tacoma 2017, doing the engine or vehicle jerk as they call it when I leave my truck idling for too long. I noticed the truck idling at just over 500 rpm and a friend of mine mentioned that it idles too low which could cause the engine to be st a cooler temp so when you go to take off there’s no give between 1-2 and 2-3 and the vehicle jerks back and forth.

So my insight isn’t the end all be all answer but gor those that have the same issue, turn your truck off when you get out fir a bit.

Anyways, that’s my two cents. Since I don’t leave it idling anymore, I don’t have the issue come up anymore
