    Stitch is looking good Rob!
    So's your rock work Mike!
And it's not that I have a problem with the cooks, Tom (they've all been great meals), I'm tired (already) of being a slave to the wood! I just have to spend too much time babysitting a consistent fire, and much as I thought I'd love that, turns out I can't drink that much beer. I'm still looking at that gravity feed!
:pccoffee: And, Good Morning Porchies! Second Friday of the week, got a Dr. in the middle of the day to prevent me from doing much of anything, so tack some errands on to the trip, and call it good.

Morning... Had some great dreams last night. My wife and I, young and nubile. You can guess the rest.

I'm with you on the yard projects, Mike. Building a brick patio in the back yard so we have a shaded place so sit out in the late afternoon and barbeque. Your's looks good.

Happy day all! Being retired I’ve noticed I often don’t really know what day it is. I’ve found it’s the same for many retired people. Yesterday I thought it was today and today seems like tomorrow. I’m sure tomorrow will seem like today or maybe yesterday. Three days ago I thought it was the day after tomorrow which is two days before what use to be my favorite day when I was working. Now that I’m retired every day is my favorite day but each one seems like a different day than today.
As you can tell I haven’t had my first cup of coffee yet and the little gray cells are still dysfunctional awaiting the caffeine jolt.
I think today what ever day today it is I’ll tend the garden and then start getting ready for our road trip through Nevada, Idaho and into Montana. We leave 3 days after the day after tomorrow. Have a great day everyone , what ever day it is and stay safe.

Completely agree with you Ken. If it wasn't for my watch, phone and Doctors confirming appointments I would be HMMMMM let's see is it tomorrow or last week even. But life is good. If you don't get back on the thread, Wishing you and the Missus a pleasant and most importantly a safe trip. Enjoy

    Good morning everyone!! Hump Day!!

I got all of the old windows out of the greenhouse and most of the skin off the lower portion, too. I'm hoping to have it stripped to the studs by this afternoon. I need to vacuum the pool, too!

    Be safe!

    Good Morning Colonel :hattip:

You do stay productively busy.
Have yourself another fine day; hope Mother Nature is cooperating for a change.
    :fingerscrossed:

A bit of work here this shift, but two of us on and my crewmate is finishing the last of 4 loadplans for tonight. We've got a group of reservists from Westover here now on annual tour...I gotta start looking at where these groups are coming from the rest of this Summer, might figure a way to get a couple racks of Yeungling brought up. ;)

After work this morning we need to tackle replacing driveline on Ranger Crew so it'll be ready for trip out to cabin.

Now to wait out the clock 'til wx reports come in and check for any load adjustments. :pccoffee:

Stay safe, healthy, and happy everyone. :)

    Respect :oldglory: GBA

Good morning Mark and Rob!! It looks like it's going to be a nice day here in SE CT.

Next week, I am putting in 60 raspberry plants, 6 elderberry bushes and 25 asparagus plants. Getting the ground ready for the raspberries was this week's challenge. Last year's project was raised beds for the strawberries and they are doing fabulous!

    Good Morning Folks :hattip:.
Sun is shining and the Temperatures look to be going up (for a change) and I need to replant my one little :) tomato plant. It's a Sun Sugar tomato and they are good in a salad. I don't have a green thumb so I hope I can keep it alive. Ear doctors six month checkup for the Phonak Paradise hearing aids. Like others have said they do make life better just being able to hear. I have to see if she can adjust the sensitivity for accepting calls or making them. If I scratch my head by my aid the Galaxy lady asks "How can I help You" .If I take my readers off and the ear piece hits the aid, she says I will answer to what ever the background noise is (TV, conversation etc.) Other than that they are great.

Have a great day folks. And Be Safe.

    Morning all:
Sounds like a good assortment to plant Bob, in our area all three are readily available just growing wild, plus there are huckleberries and blueberries (hint :)) everywhere. On occasion I will stumble on a patch of wild strawberries, those little guys are delicious.

:pccoffee: Good Morning folks. Supposed to have a wet AM, and then turning nice. For once, I can say we got enough for now - yesterday a pop up did just that and dumped 2 1/4" in 45 minutes! Some pea size hail again, but sounded worse with the wind than anything. Think I will transplant some seedlings, and keep putzing the garage shelf into those bins. There will be a counter when I'm done, so might as well.

THX Rob. Pricing is not bad for just the light bar. My base Excab did not have fog lights so when I installed my first set I used a relay to transfer the power to the PIAA lamps. Adding the light bar would be an easy task.

I have read a lot of decent reports about the gravity fed smokers. My only advise is to get one that is WIFI enabled. Most of the BBQ Pitt masters I follow on Youtube have multiple grills and most have a gravity fed smoker.

Going to take it a little easier today. We planted the vegetable garden yesterday and that took a few hours. I need to do a grocery shopping run and guitar practice. I might purchase some plants for the containers I have. I have one container to fix. Part of the decorative clay top ring broke and fell off. Thinking of using some JB weld to affix it pack onto the pot. JB Weld works for most mending needs.

Ken: I am fooling around with the saved programs features. I can adjust the hearing aid for watching TV but I have not figured out how to save it. Going to work on that today. Also I want to pair it to my iPad. I have an older Samsung tablet that I use for playing solitaire but the Android operating system is not high enough to support the hearing aid app.

The pattern on that lightbar is amazing and very happy with my choice to go amber on it and the ditchlights ... clear concise light that gives great depth perception and object definition without the harsh glare produced by the overpowering lumens produced by the LEDS thru clear lens. This is my opinion of course, but you can consider it my testimonial on the subject.

Have a great day Sir. :)

    Good morning all,

Have had a busy five days here and it is still SNOWING and cold. Ground is mush as it is not frozen and we have had snow, hail, rain then back to snow for the past four days.

Love the spring projects you are all sharing, it is keeping me motivated to get out there and get back to work once the weather eases up. Suppose to have a few days of warmer weather but still wet - still OK with that - the more wet we get the less fire we get.

Rob, Stitch is looking great, mine needs a bath bad - mud.

Septic update - it is working as supposed to :amen::bananadance:

Have a great and safe day everyone

Great news, :crapstorm:-wise, Mike! Glad to hear things are going with the flow!

And, I just got some great news! Actually SPOKE with the missing mechanic who has had my truck - :taco: - and it is being finished TODAY sometime. Why has it been sitting? Well, my guess was correct. He had Covid (right in the middle of tearing truck apart), was hospitalized, and just OK'd to come back today. Got it from his mother, who gave it to the whole family. MIL is still in the hospital. So, "family illness" like the message said - "emergency" like the first message said. Wife says we're taking a can of Lysol when I get it!

Oh, my diabetic Dr. check was great yesterday too. Right now, I feel like

    Morning all:
Watching the effects of the pipeline hack and wondering how the heck they operated before computers!
In my simple mind, a pipeline consists of pipe, pumping stations, and valves, I would think they could be operated manually if needed, but that may be too simple! ?????

Glad the septic system is working Mike, if it wasn't it could be a smelly situation :crapstorm:.

Good news on the truck Kurt. Hopefully he and his family will be over the covid altogether soon. :fingerscrossed:

Totally agree Carl, In my last job they came up with a an anagram(????) and it was KISS - Keep It Simple Stupid. Maybe thats what all the super tech operated companies need to do :D

Aloha my friends! Haven't been posting in a while, as I've been busy getting life back to normal.

Thought I'd share our small yard project. Not quite as extensive as some of yours, but shit costs money over here! Main thing is the wife likes it; she spends a lot of time outside & out of my hair, so all is good.
