I have two questions about the Body Armor 4x4 HiLine Series Front Bumper. Thinking about purchasing it for my 2018 TRD Off Road.

    1. On both sides of this particular bumper, there are flanges welded on to it. Do those metal flanges go behind the 'Taco's trimmed bumper edges, or do the flanges stay visible in front of the trimmed plastic?

Here is a pic in which it appears the flanges are hidden behind the trimmed plastic. To me, the plastic trimmed edge of the bumper where it is covering the flanges looks a little stressed. In other pictures I've seen the flange visible in front of the trimmed plastic. Which way is correct?

    2. Second question is; how is the water drainage from the bottom of this bumper? Does water and crud pool up in the bottom of the bumper; leading two accelerated corrosion and rusting? I don't see any drain holes other than winch mounting holes.

Well, I'll be answering my own questions soon enough... I went ahead and ordered one anyway.

Sure enough, someone else has already asked this question. Thanks OP, since I was also wondering the same thing. Bumper is en route and I've noticed in some installs the tabs are on either side of the bumper..... what did you end up doing? Tucked inside the bumper seems like the correct/clean method but 9/10 photos the tabs are on the outside.

I ended up with the tabs on the outside.
