I'm super into the Weather Tech shades. Had them on my Forester and it was amazing at keeping the car cool, plus provided absolute privacy while sleeping at rest areas since they have a shade that precisely fits every window in the car (if you select the option.)

Just ordered a set for my truck tonight, actually.

Total pain in the ass to roll up 8 shades into the little tote they supply, though.

I lost a decal in between the truck bed and the cab. Anyone have any tips on getting it out? I saw it fall, then it shifted and I can't see where it is anymore. I assumed it was on top of the gas tank, but I ran my hand around up there and got nothing. :/

Do you have a mirror on a stick to locate it? Then maybe something like a plastic spatula to scrape it off the metal if you can locate it? I'm assuming when you said "decal" you meant magnetic decal?

I don't have the former on me right now but I'll give that a shot when I can get to it. It's not a magnetic decal unfortunately. I was trying to see where I wanted to put it on the back glass and it slipped out of my hand and fell in. The mirror idea is not bad.

Oh dear...got any room in your driveway/road? Maybe a couple quick 10-15 mph blasts down the driveway and the wind would dislodge it?

    ...

Or even hit it with an air compressor? Just blast some air about and hopefully it shakes loose?

Funny enough I was actually considering both of these ideas. I might try the air compressor first. Will report back.

I also have a weathertech. Its my first one so I don't really have much to compare against, but I really like it. Rolls up nicely and I store it behind the rear seat.

Found it! Didn't need the compressor. It was pretty deep on top of the gas tank in a tight space. My hand did not love that.

The WT shades fit so well. Had a full set for my Forester and they were spectacular, so I bought a full set for my Tacoma. Should have them in a few days and can report if they're equally excellent.

To be specific, I am referring to the set that is front/rear window and all four side windows as well.

They fit exactly in each window for full privacy along with denying the maximum amount of sunlight.

edit - I am not selling a vehicle.

This is a lead on a new 2021 manual TRD Off Road, Double Cab, V6, white, $37,431

This truck is currently at the dealership in Reno and I'm going to let it go and get my deposit refunded (I already bought my truck). I'm new to the forums, so I can only post in the newbie forum, so if you know somebody looking for a lead on a new 2021 manual:
Bought my 2nd Gen, so dropping the new 2021 manual on hold at dealer. Anybody want this lead?

That's seems to be fairly priced in this hyperinflated market.

I know, right? They've (for the last 8 weeks) been very much "sticker price"; they weren't trying to shake me down for any more and they weren't remotely entertaining any discount from that price. But, yeah, hearing horror stories about other places having $5,000 markup, etc.

There is a new 2021 manual transmission Tacoma available right now on the lot in Reno, Nevada (zip: 89502).
*** This is the last comment I'll make about it. ***

Here's the link to the truck page on the dealer's website:
    https://www.dolanrenotoyota.com/new...oma-Reno-571bfbab0a0e09a809881bcd44bfd1be.htm

If you're interested, I'm not exaggerating when I say you need to call immediately. They will take a refundable $500.00 deposit. Ideally, please ask for Dani, but if she's not instantly available, do what you gotta do - talk to anyone that will take your deposit. (In parallel, you can text my google voice and I'll give you Dani's cell number. I'd rather post my number than hers, but I'll give it to anyone who asks. She texts which is convenient. My google voice is 775 525 1878).

    Background
When the previous hold fell through Saturday evening, the sharks were circling and Dani called me and I threw a deposit on it instantly. My purchase from the 2nd Gen forums finalized Monday, so I posted that I was dropping out, and this afternoon I cancelled my deposit and dropped out; which is why it's available now.
It *will* get snatched up today; likely within hours, or maybe minutes once the other sales people find out I dropped. It would be nice if Dani can get this sale since she was lookin' out for me, but do what you gotta do, it's a shark tank over there.

    Price
Price-wise, they have it for $37,931. I've discussed probably 4 different trucks with them over the last 9 weeks and they've always been 100% "sticker price"; they won't entertain the notion of any discount, but they also didn't tack on markup because of the shortage. (I've seen markup stories on here about $2,000 - $5,000 dealer markups). So, basically, they have been fair so far.

Again, I'm not selling anything; I'm alerting TW there is a truck available. And this is the last time I'll comment about it, since I'm sure it won't make it through the rest of business hours today.

I went with American striping company to get my @At The Helm bumper powder coated, proximity to my house and another members previous experience where my main reasons for choosing them. It only made it that much better that Reid is a Toyota guy himself. Bumper looks great and price was less than quoted.
