Cleveland went pretty aggressive to build Defense this year, too. Will be noticeable in AFC north.

The #Jaguars are planning to sign QB-turned-TE Tim Tebow to a 1-year deal, per me and @TomPelissero, a deal that could be official in the next week or so. Nothing done yet. But he’ll have a chance to make the team to reunite with his mentor and college head coach Urban Meyer.

Need to vent a bit-

Not liking the 17 game season. It’s senseless and against all the ‘safety measures’ the NFL has attempted over the years. If you can’t determine who should be in the playoffs after 16 games then something’s wrong..

Not liking the week 14 bye for the Pats (or any other team for that matter). Why bother at that point?

Hating the Playoff dates with the extended season. Just cause I’m getting old and cranky.

A real soap opera for sure. Maybe they should just cut Rodgers loose?

 

I’d say so. Rodgers has historically been a bit of a drama queen. Just took it to the next level this off season.

 

I was a little confused on the pictures at first and then I realized that you were just showing what the Bills stadium was going to look like during playoffs this year.

 

They only had 2 QBs on the roster... Rodgers and Love, so it makes sense to add a seasoned back up.

 

Which is why it would have made sense to get a solid third long before the current Rodgers drama, and when back ups were plenty. I think we can all anticipate what Bortles will do if truly put in action...

 

Farve will come back if asked nicely.

 

I think they tried. But most of the "solid back ups" are starters again, or re-signed with their teams. Most players don't want to start behind a Rodgers like QB, he's in the game for himself and not for helping his future replacement succeed.
