I just bought a 2017 AC which came with the Entune Infotainment system, and I'm really missing the Android Auto setup I had in my previous vehicle.

I've heard myths about some sort of man-in-the-middle device that can utilize the factory head unit but add Android Auto, and I'm of course familiar with the option of swapping the head unit. Regardless of the true solution, I also want to make sure my steering wheel controls, digital speedometer and driver's side info center, and backup camera continue to function.

I've looked around quite a bit, and it seems like it's slim pickings in terms of tutorials of where to start when attempting this upgrade.

To anyone who's made the upgrade before... any sage advice for those of us left behind in the world of Entune?

You're looking for something like a GROM unit. I'm not the expert on OEM integration, but look at the GROM audio TOYOU3 system. MSRP Is about $170.

They also offer the GROM VL2 at $660, but that's a dog and pony show.

It looks like the TOYOU3 adds Bluetooth, which I already have, while the VL2 is what adds Android Auto. Guess I'm off for a dog and pony show then? Thanks for the find.
