I wonder what that owner got for trade in. That thing is overpriced by about 10k IMO. Maybe more.

It's the time I traded my Ram Ecodiesel for $7500 more than it was worth because they are so desperate for 4x4 trucks right now. That's how I got my Tacoma.

 

who cares about the sale, this is a 4-5 year old truck with 270k miles. Impressive. usually 2008-2012 vehicles have the mileage

 

I got a quote from Vroom two days ago for over $38,000. ‘18 with a little over 30k on the clock.

 

Depending on when It was first bought that could be like 150 (or more) miles a day.

 

Yeah, and that number is likely for 360 days a year, which most people don't do. so the real daily average is probably a lot higher.

 

It has at least another 270K left in it. I am sure the first 270k is all highway.

Normally I would say, yes that is insane, but due to the current state of global market demand for processors, microprocessors, vehicles, and items which are of electrical nature in general, the price of everything has gone up due to shortages. Factor in that Tacoma already has a resale value that holds hard as steel regardless of the mileage it has and you have yourself one insane resale price.

 

Yeah. Used prices are crazy, but that is a bit extra crazy for the mileage in my mind in the way that it would be an easy pass for me. Being SOL and needing a vehicle, I'd still look elsewhere. That's just me though.

 

Sold mine two weeks ago for something that can actually pull a trailer.

My local Toyota dealer sends me sn email every 2 weeks to buy my truck. They offered 32k as a base offer without inspecting it and emphasize that’s probably more than that. 2018 Trd OR with 31k miles
