Question on tire size. 06 Tacoma
Just put the Bilstien 5100’s with OME 2885 springs in the front (no lift), with a 1” block in the back to level, with new shocks. Right now I have BFG KO2 LT265/75/16 what’s the forums consensus on what next larger tire size would fit best on my rig. I’m sticking with the 16” rims. Let me know what you guys think, any pictures would be awesome.

My guess is your suggesting that I dig through the past tire size posts to find my answer....:):anonymous:

You might be able to get a 275 in there. 285 is cutting metal territory (CMC).

I would stay with the size you have. You CAN put 285/75/16's on it and fit them under the fenders. But you also have to consider the loss of power, loss of fuel mileage and the added costs of the tires. It'll cost you $250+ more just for the tires in 285/65/16 vs 265/75/16. Just to gain 6/10" of ground clearance.

I would like them just a touch taller. More for look than functionality. What about 275/70/R16 with some wheel spacers.
Going to be sticking with KO2’s

I think you mean 275/75r16. You could probably fit it, not with wheel spacers though. What offset are your wheels?

nope you don't have to always cut metal with 285s that's horseshit. That knee jerk shit happens here everyday there are plently of people here with 285s myself included with no rubbing I still have mud flaps on. it's all about tires, wheels and wheel offset. The only thing I had to do was remove the little front nub mudflaps.

how much did you get in front with the 885s. I'm at 2.5 with the bilsteins and 1.5 Icon progressive leaf in back. 285/70/17 ridge grapplers and the TRD Pro 2021 replica rims with 8 inch width instead of 7 (better for 285s) paid 600 for the wheels. Google AGP wheels and look on offerup. Guy comes and delivers em.

It all depends on wheels offset, that's why I asked what his offset was. Also depends on the tire too, even thought the size listed is the same, true height is different across all tires models.

    Your truck looks good btw

What kind of mileage do you get, if you don't mind?
