I'm looking to put an Alpine SWR-T10 in my 04 double cab, I'm just curious if anyone has put one in behind the back seat? I'd like to hear some input before i go spend the money on a custom box and the sub

    Brad,

I haven't found anyone that's put this sub in a Tacoma, yet. I'm interested in this sub, too. The few reviews I can find have nothing but good things to say. I'm just having a hard time finding real-world installations, yet.

my main concern is if it will fit behind the seat, i haven't done much research on that, but i was just curious if anyone has put it back there.

not a fan of the new type R subs. period. shallow mount or not, alpine cut some corners on the new design of the type R's. for example. i blew 2 of the 1042 subs in 2 years. i blew 2 of the 1043 subs in 2 MONTHS. get your moneys worth and go with JL... would be nice if they released the 10tw5 that theyve been promising, though.
