    Truck Stalls/Dies, & 'Slip Indicator' light comes on & truck will not start until 'Slip Indicator' light goes off.
    ScanGuageII eventually threw P2610. Tried clearing ECU via disconnecting battery only lasts a short time before it happens again. Is there a relay/fuse/fuselink that energizes the ECU when the ignition switch is turned on, or is it under constant power? I assume constant power since resetting requires battery disconnect ??
    Please Advise - Thanks in Advance...

    Not sure what you are tying to do. The truck needs the ECU in order to run. Clearing the code simply clears the code being reported to the ECU, it does not fix the issue. Not sure where to strat digging for the issue. Suggest starting with things that feed the VSC (Slip Indicator) system since that appears to be playing a part; verify sensor outputs, inspect cables for broken wires or grounded signals.. Could also be a bad ECU (swap with a loaner of you can find one). Good hunting!

    Not sure if the P2610 is related to your stalling but service info basically says replace ECM if that code keeps setting, I would test powers and grounds at the ECM before condemning it though as that could cause your issue as well as erroneous codes.

    Just an FYI for anyone who's following:
    Turns out it was the ABS. When I finally able to scan the Abs, it threw 5 codes. I cleared/reset the ABS, Did a Rescan No Eng. codes ABS Passed.
    Been running fine ever since.:thumbsup::fingerscrossed:
