Dealer inventory

Today I took my Tacoma to my dealer in the local auto mall for routine service. While strolling through the mall I noticed the lack of inventory for nearly all makes. The Toyota dealer had one new Tundra, 4 used ones, and 3 used Tacomas.
As far as trucks the only make that had any number of new trucks was Ram. But even their inventory was lower than usual.
Overall the only make that seemed to have anything approaching a normal inventory was Honda.
Anyone know when manufacturing will get back to normal?

In my area I have visited 3 Honda dealers and the inventory is way down. Seems all of the dealerships in my area are hurting from the chip shortage.
