Emblem overlays from Amazon. $30 and they look decent. Hopefully they will hold up.

Haha! It’s Duplicolor Satin black wheel paint. I’ve used it before back when I had a Jeep; it’s easy to use and holds up super well.

I thought it would be a fine time to.....

    wash,
    clay bar,
    apply ceramic coat,
and then of course buff out my truck.

That’s a fair amount of time an effort but it looks great...my hope is that it will help keep it clean and of course protect it.....time will tell and I think correctly applying it will direcly impact how long it will bead water and protect.

I used Meguiar's G190532SP Hybrid Ceramic Wax just because.... I have no idea...probably Amazon reviews or maybe I like the color of the bottle, I am not always logical or rational.

nope just two coats of the satin, if it gets scratched up it’ll be easy to touch up.

Clutch on the compressor go out? Mine went out awhile ago (replaced under warranty) it was the ground wire on the clutch that corroded and lost connection causing it to stop working. I covered the new clutch wires with grease to keep them from breaking down again.

Pretty close to what I'm doing on a similar truck. Hopefully I can get away from hammering and cutting but I don't expect to be that lucky. Nice to see an example of what I have to look forward to. Nice truck man.

True. Additionally, while following a chrome bumper truck on the trails yesterday, it looks like he's in reverse when the sun hits it. Can be slightly unnerving at times.

    'roo guards" down under.

Deer are a constant hazard in these parts. I'm not sure the bars wouldn't just add to the damaged part count. Hoves through the windscreen are the killer
