Ok, story time... 6, you'll like this one

This happened circa 1995 whilst stationed at RAF Mildenhal, UK. I miss Commanders like Colonel Chuck Royce more and more these days...

Memorial Day weekend our squadron has a car wash fundraiser for the squadron activities club (like a morale booster deal). Back in the day they just let us hook up to fire hydrant and wash away. Col Royce was our brand new Sq CC, been in command not even a week. His wife and he stop by the car wash, and long story short, my youngest son, Mitch, 5yo at the time, manages to literally soak Col Royce with a firehose. For the next few weeks whenever Mitch got around a garden hose at the house, he'd try to squirt me with it...and succeeded on 2 occasions. Another week passes, and Kristi brings the boys by the squadron to pick me up for lunch, as we're walking down the hall by the commander's office, Mitch says, "I gotta see Col Royce."
I say, "ok, we'll see if he's not busy," he wasn't, we go in, Mitch walks right up to Col Royce and says, "I got him twice." Col Royce reaches in his pocket, and hands Mitch 2 dollar bills. Then says, "our deal is good as long as I'm here." I spent the next two years keeping Mitch away from hoses. I think he made about $10 off Col Royce in those two years.
