Anyone ever see my old truck running around over there? I traded it at Doug Smith down in American Fork. It had gunmetal level 8s and Toyo AT IIs. OME susp, SPC uppers, TRD expedition edition sticker on the bed. This is what it looked like when I traded it.

Loading up at the River Rock in LaVerkin. I wish Kanab had a better coffee spot.

Regretted that we didn't do it sooner.

Depends on where you're moving to. Some areas can seem very California like. We initially looked at the St. George/Hurricane area and felt like it wasn't what we were looking for. Took a hard look at Dammeron, Veyo, Central, New Harmony and the outskirts of Cedar City and decided it was too far away from the areas we like to recreate in. The land around Apple Valley is ripe for future expansion so we skipped on that. While we like Virgin, the whole Highway 9 corridor through there is a mess during tourist season.

Settled on the eastern outskirts of Kanab and love it. We're surrounded by Grand Staircase/Escalante and feel like we're in Disneyland.

    Hey all!

Heading out to SLC at the end of this month to visit family in Layton, and was just wondering if anyone has any recommendations for shops or manufacturers to visit while out there? Last time I was out there was back in 2016 so it's been a while.

    Thanks!

    Mike

Haven't been active here in a number of years, figured I'd jump back in after meeting a guy that mentioned the forum.

2019 TRD OR, still a work in progress with parts on back order but will eventually be as built up as my 2011 that I sold off was.

Broke the ice and threw on the usual TRD pro rims wrapped in K02s since I found them for a deal ($1300 with the used tires but most tread life left.) Caught the bug, looking at suspension next. Smog Lake City represent.

Took off the OEM mudflaps and thinking of removing the side steps.

My 6MT. Last pic I’ll post before it gets a BAMF hybrid bumper and sliders. Breaking those in at Black Rock Desert soon.43658328-C4A4-45E1-90E7-101CED92E903.jpg

What's up y'all! Been in SLC for a little over two years, but just joined the Taco club a month ago. Snapped these photos a few weeks ago out at Joe's Valley Reservoir (yup, I'm a climber!).

Would love to know what are everyone's favorite local, easy trails. Going to very slowly ease into off-roading and more moderate trails.

Check out the Bountiful B, it's more of a playground than a trail but it's super close and a good spot to flex the suspension a bit and take in the view. There is a little trail that goes further up the mountain from there but it's washed out and not something I would recommend hitting with anything that has more than 2 wheels.

Hey All. Just moved the family back to Utah County, we're originally from Southern Utah County. Spent the last three years working and living in Pennsylvania. Had a lot of fun exploring the east including PA, ME, and the OBX. Could have a few pointers if anybody is interesting in making a trip back there. Now that we're back and the outdoors is closer and more available, I'm looking to continue the build. Next on the list is a Softopper and a Prinsu cab rack.
