    Looks real nice.
Wish I had something like that.
The last 2 rooms in the house to be re-done have been for the wife. Working on the 3rd now.
I get a corner in the basement.

Nice. Was hoping to get some shots of the 2 good bucks I had on camera early this year...but the guy that owns the property is selling it, so I had to move my cameras. It’s way over priced and I’m not sure it’s going to sell (I’m hoping not). I’ll probably take the cameras back closer to season if it hasn’t sold yet. This is the biggest thing I’ve had on my other property so far. They did seem to drop pretty late, so maybe he got a late start. Still had deer holding horns late into March.

Brought the bear home last night. His teeth fell out when boiling. it was a fun project with the kids figuring out where they go and gluing them back in. His jaw also split in half so disregard the orthodontic rubber bands around his teeth lol. Needed something too hold him together while the glue set.

Side note. This has got to be the worst head I've boiled. He sat in the heat wrapped in a bag for 2 weeks out in our wood pile at the shop. When I pulled his head from the bag the meat literally slopped off the skull. Half the work was already done lol. I had a hard time getting him this white. I think by letting him sit too long like that some of the grease from the fat made its way into the bone. I had a similar situation with an antelope last year too. He still stinks a bit. I've never had a head stink after boiling. Anyone have any ideas on what I could do to get rid of the stench? Its not real pungent. But if you get your face within a foot or two its stinky.

1/4 cup per gallon of water of Arm and hammer washing soda. Simmer for 15 min. It will deteriorate/dissolve the nasal cavity bone honeycomb if you leave it longer. Ive read warmed acetone will degrease it.
    Heres some info on methods.

I have a question for you guys.

I have been a western hunter that’s done primarily spot and stalk hunting but have an opportunity to do some archery from a tree stand.

I found a spot that’s well off the beaten path, has good deer activity and good morning wind based what I’ve seen. I have ZERO idea what type of stand to use, when to hang it, etc. Outside of making sure I have a safety harness I know nothing, lol.

Can you all point me in the direction of what stands I should be looking at? Any pointers? Do you need more info from me to help me?

    Thanks in advance.
