I wonder how much money the PO got on top of driving away in a new X3.

 

I would have gladly got a v6 MT SR DCSB if they offered. Lot of cash left over for tasteful mods.

So, I am NOT computer savvy as I tried to cut and paste from a previous post.... In the TW search engine, Go to "3rd Gen", "Show me your knob", and go to post #488, and #490...... hope this helps

 

I belive if they offered a SR with leather, sunroof, manual, they would sell like crazy. I could do with out the tech package, factory fog lights, factory locker, ect. Because most of that has already been replaced with aftermarket anyway.

 

Not sure the salesman said they treated him really well on trade but he had to have taken a hit if they listed this one at 39K - Unless he paid cash for both and it wasn't a concern.

 

I almost feel sorry for the sucker who traded it in for a beemer….

 

The X3 sounds like a better vehicle for the customer. Should have gotten a RX 350 instead of the X3.

"Then you are in for a pleasant surprise friend. Every Dealership has Barcelona Red in stock. When I bought my most recent Tacoma I also bought a color marker that's the same color as your pickup for scratches and stuff. It was 16 bucks. It has three different brushes to paint with. Take off the top piece and you will see a much skinnier tip that fits in the grooves of the factory knob. It takes awhile and have rubbing alcohol on hand to quickly wipe off the paint that doesn't get into the grooves. Cheers"

What did you use for a rubber or plastic trim on the boot?

 

One of the TW members 3D printed it, don’t think he makes them anymore though.
