2020 Tacoma Limited passenger seat making noise on normal driving over bumps

 

Ignore the morons.

try this:
Click the passenger seat belt. If it is rattling it can be mistaken for the seat.

Adjust the seat to a different position. Sometimes one side of track is off. If that’s it adjusted the track.

Temp bungee or tie the seat back under tension, if that a it your fucked, turn up the radio or leave the bungee between the headrest and under seat frame ahead of the hinges.

 

Remove the seat. Passengers can ride in the bed.

My 2015 does this and it drives me nuts. I can wedge something in between the side of the seat and the console and it will minimize it. Wish there was a permanent fix..

 

My 2010 and my 2020 does it also. The passenger side seat back vibrates when you are on any even slightly bumpy road. Don’t think there’s a fix we can do. Toyota engineers should come up with a solution. Drives me nuts also’
