The time for new tires on my '17 TRD Sport is coming up and I'd like to upgrade the wheels and tires. But I'm not looking to make any huge changes to the suspension/lift quite yet.

It's mostly a daily driver/kid-hauling truck. But I'd like to be comfortable on the beach or on a muddy dirt road when we go adventuring.

I feel overwhelmed by the options of wheel/tire size mods for the Taco so I wanted to see what you guys recommend for a stock suspension?

A few OE parts from fancy trucks
Stock wheels and a 265 tire.

If you do fine on the beach / mud with your OE tires, Michelin Defenders should work fine.

    K02 Bro!

There are a lot of great All Terrains out there, stay C load and stock size to keep the weight down.

    I'm curious.

Why would you need AT type tires for daily driver/kid hauling duty??

    Looks? Road Noise?

My kids are All-Terrain, my tires need to keep up..

Honestly, I don't mind the hit to mileage vs the capability, strength, and looks of an all terrain. There are a ton of tires out there and everyone's needs are different. Some people even replace OEM tires with the same brand/model.

This. 75% of the time I’m doing basic weekday things but when we get out on the weekend, we’re camping, beach trekking, hiking, often not on nice paved flat roads.

AT seems to be the best option at a stock size on a stock wheel.
